I watched “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” tonight for the gazillionth time and only just realized that the Grinch bothers me not because he steals Christmas from the Whos, but because he is mean to Max, his dog.

I was actually saying the same thing to best-friend on the phone last night – he’s just so cruel to poor Max! The Whos can make the best of things – but Max is stuck with the mean ol’ Grinch.
Besides… those whos are creepy, all that singing and dancing and happiness. They deserve to brought down a peg or two.
But poor, poor Max.
